14 Days

Before you ask, yes. I do realize I have neglected to do any sort of coutdown-to-the-concert thingy on here. BUT better late than never. This song, one I've never really been to fond of originally, shines through the others on the Ocean Avenue Acoustic album that they just recently released. I was wondering what they were going to do with it, due to the fact that it's originally an acoustic song. So as I was sitting on my couch, listening to the Pandora Premier of the album and freaking out at all of the songs in general, One Year, Six Months Acoustic came on, and I completely lost it. I started laughing hysterically in amazement to the beauty that me ears just experienced. I am enormously excited for the concert anyway, but I am particularly excited to hear this song played on a piano.
It kinda floors me when I think about how in such a small amount of time, Yellowcard has affected my life in such a big way. Starting at the beginning of 2012, I have slowly grown my library of their songs. The current song count on my iPod is 125. 125 songs of just Yellowcard. I am quite proud.

Here I Am, I'm Trying

Lately, I have been on a massive Blink 182 kick. Being myself and loving Pop Punk music so much, I finally decided to take yet another leap of faith into the unknown and listen to the band that's famous for being super dirty. There are a few songs that are making me just as excited as this one; Stay Together For The Kids, Dammit, All The Small Things, and Wishing Well, to name a few. I love music videos that think outside of the normal performance videos. The way they use three separate takes of the three band members chasing after the girl blows my mind. The lyrics aren't really speaking personally to me, however. Not an experience I have yet encountered. Bink 182 is a staple in the Punk music industry.
